  • So why does one need a 30 round magazine for a hand gun? Serious question, as I can only think of the reason that was brought to light on Saturday...that is to be able to fire as many rounds as possible before reloading. I can see a soldier needing this ability, or a cop.

  • Oops....got my figures a bit wrong. The tax on 24k would be $2762, not $3600.

  • Has anyone verified this figure of a family having 2 kids making 50K not paying any taxes?  I downloaded a 1040 form and filled it out for a family of 4 with 2 kids.  After the standard deduction and the dependents deduction, the taxable income was still 24k.

  • Just love it when these hard core law and order types get caught.  Then they start crying about how they are innocent and it was an unfair trial.  A guy is about to be executed in Georgia for murder on much less evidence that was presented against Stevens.
